Home-cum-Health Secretary Reviews Readiness of Newly Renovated AYUSH Integrated hospital at Sector-34 & Sector-11 Dispensaries. Sh. Mandip Singh Brar, Home-cum-Health Secretary, UT Chandigarh, today visited the AYUSH Integrated hospital at Sector-34 & Sector-11 Dispensaries to review the preparedness and readiness of these health facilities.

He also visited the operational allopathic dispensary to gain a comprehensive understanding of the integrated healthcare services being provided to the public.During the visit, the Home-cum-Health Secretary conducted a detailed inspection of the upgraded infrastructure, including the laboratory, homeopathy pharmacy, ayurvedic store, Panchkarma therapy OPD, and dispensary rooms.

He assessed the quality of facilities created and reviewed the arrangements made for the smooth delivery of AYUSH services.Sh. Brar interacted with doctors and staff members at both locations to evaluate on-ground preparedness, availability of resources, and service delivery mechanisms.

He was briefed that advanced AYUSH services, including Panchkarma therapy, will soon be introduced at these facilities following their formal inauguration.Emphasizing the importance of quality healthcare, Sh. Brar directed officials to maintain high standards of hygiene, patient care, and operational efficiency.

He stressed the need for timely completion of all preparatory arrangements to ensure that the facilities become fully functional without delay and are able to serve the public effectively from day one.Present during the visit were Sh. Sourabh Kumar Arora, Director, AYUSH; Dr. Suman Singh, Director Health Services; Sh C B Ojha, Chief Engineer along with other senior officers of the Chandigarh Administration.

This initiative reflects the Administration’s continued commitment to strengthening traditional systems of medicine and enhancing access to holistic and integrated healthcare services for the residents of Chandigarh.
