Haryana Health Minister Ms. Arti Singh Rao unveiled the statue of martyr Kailash Chand in village Bhandor of Rewari district.Addressing the gathering, the Minister said that martyrs do not belong to just one family or village but are the pride of the entire nation. 

Remembering martyr Kailash Chand, she informed that he attained martyrdom in 1993 during an encounter with Maoists while on election duty in Chhattisgarh, and said his sacrifice will continue to inspire generations.The Minister also encouraged the martyr’s wife, Bhateri Devi, and her family, assuring them that the government stands firmly with them at every step. 

She further assured that the demands put forward by the villagers would be addressed on a priority basis.Ms. Arti Singh Rao said that 50 MBBS seats have been approved at the under-construction AIIMS in village Majra, Rewari. OPD services will soon be operational at the AIIMS. 

She would visit the institute shortly to review the arrangements, she added.She also said that healthcare services across Haryana are being strengthened, with modern equipment being provided in government hospitals. MLA, Bawal, Dr. Krishan Kumar was also present.
