Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, while addressing a Dhanyvad evam Vikas rally held in Safidon of Jind district on Saturday, made major announcements for the development of the area. He said that the Safidon hospital will be upgraded to a 100-bed facility. Apart from this, new buildings for veterinary hospitals will be constructed in Siwana Mal village and Khatla village. 

Ramsar Park and an auditorium will be developed in Safidon, and an e-library will be established in the city for students. Additionally, an entrance gate named after Mahatma Jyotiba Phule will be constructed from Panipat Road to the municipal limits. The building of a BSc Nursing College will be constructed soon in Safidon. The boundary wall of Memorial Government Girls College in Safidon will also be reconstructed.

He further said that the 33 KV line passing over houses in Peepal Wala Mohalla, Ward No. 7, Guljari Chowk colony in Safidon city will be removed as per norms. In village Kheda Khemavati, the capacity of the power transformer installed at the 33 KV substation will be increased to 33 MVA. 

The old and dilapidated buildings of the primary school and government senior secondary school in the village will be declared condemned and new rooms will be constructed.The Chief Minister said that the capacity of the power transformer installed at the 132 KVA substation in Khedi Taloda will be increased in phases to 40–45 MVA and 132–33 KVA. A 33 KV substation will be constructed in village Siwan Mala. 

New PHC buildings will be constructed in Rajana Kalan and Dhanarth villages. During this, the Chief Minister also announced civil works worth ₹1 crore in government schools of various villages. He said that a fire station will be constructed in Pillukhera subject to land availability. 

Additionally, two new fire tenders will be provided to the Safidon fire station. Applications submitted by various social organizations for allotment of plots in HSVP sectors will be processed as per rules and the allotment process will be completed soon.

The Chief Minister announced that rehabilitation of Gangoli, Kalwa, Bhadatana, sub-minor, and Siwana Mal distributary canals will be carried out at a cost of ₹12.50 crore, and a Gram Secretariat will also be constructed in the village. Along with this, the canal rest house at Anta will be repaired. 

He said that an ITI will be constructed in Pillukhera subject to land availability. Religious places in the Safidon area under Kurukshetra Development Board will be renovated at a cost of ₹2 crore. A biogas plant will be installed on Shamlat land of Gram Panchayat Muana. 

A community center will be constructed in Morkhi village. A retaining wall will be built for the historic Yayati Surya Kund temple in Kalwa village. The BDPO office building in Safidon will be constructed. Works worth ₹10 crore under the Public Health Engineering Department will be carried out in various villages.

He said that repair of roads, construction of new shed covers and other works will be carried out in the grain market of Safidon, for which ₹5 crore has been allocated. A vegetable market will be constructed in Pillukhera subject to land availability. ₹6 crore has been allocated for construction, widening and repair of roads connecting various villages of Safidon and Pillukhera. 

The new grain market in Pillukhera will be expanded further subject to land availability. A new rest house will be constructed in Safidon at a cost of approximately ₹9.50 crore. Bridges over drains will be constructed in Bhambhewa.The Chief Minister further announced that 12 roads of the PWD department will be reconstructed at a cost of about ₹19 crore. 

A total of 49 roads with a length of 203.5 km in Safidon constituency, which are currently under DLP, will also be strengthened and maintained by the concerned agency. He said that special repairs of 39.36 km of roads will also be carried out at a cost of ₹22.89 crore. 

Similarly, 63 roads of 173.29 km under the Market Committee, currently under DLP, will also be strengthened and maintained by the concerned agency. In addition, special repair of 8 roads with a total length of 56.70 km will be carried out at a cost of ₹5.86 crore. Farm paths up to 25 km in the Safidon constituency will be paved. The Chief Minister also announced a separate allocation of ₹5 crore for the development of villages in the constituency.
