The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of CGC Landran, in collaboration with the HR Department, organized an expert session on ‘Emotional Regulation through Mindfulness’. The session witnessed the participation of around a hundred faculty members. The primary objective of the event was to promote awareness about the importance of emotional regulation in personal and professional life and to equip participants with practical mindfulness-based strategies to manage stress, enhance focus and maintain emotional balance. 

The session was conducted by Dr. Nayanika Singh, Psychologist and Corporate Behavioural Trainer at GQA Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Mohali, who shared insights into mindfulness techniques, emotional intelligence and effective strategies for regulating emotions. It included interactive activities and practical exercises, enabling participants to experience mindfulness practices and understand their application in everyday life. 

This joint initiative focused on fostering emotional well-being and enhancing self-regulation skills among faculty members. Attendees also gained practical tools for improved stress management, helping them address anxiety in a healthier manner. 

Additionally, the session provided valuable guidance on integrating mindfulness practices into daily routines, contributing to improved focus, productivity and overall well-being of the participants. The program concluded with the felicitation of the distinguished guest by Mr. Barinder Sawhney, Director, HR, CGC Landran, Dr. Harsimran Kaur, Dean- IQAC, and Ms. Isha Sharma, Senior Manager, Department of HR, CGC Landran.
