Traders’ Commission Holds Public Interaction at Naya Gaon

Assures Time-Bound Redressal of Grievances

In order to address the concerns of traders and shopkeepers, the Punjab Traders’ Commission conducted a public interaction meeting at Main Bazaar, Naya Gaon, under Kharar Assembly constituency, today. 

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ranjit Pal Singh, Chairman, District Traders’ Commission, Mohali, in the presence of Mr. Tarlochan Singh Baidwan, Vice Chairman, District Traders’ Commission, Mohali, Mr. Yashpal Bansal, Chairman, Assembly Traders’ Commission, Kharar, along with other members. The Commission members listened attentively to the issues and grievances raised by traders.

Senior officials from various departments including State Taxation, Municipal Council Kharar, Food Supply, Revenue, Health, Labour, Police, Public Works Department, and Water Supply were also present to address the concerns of the traders.

A large number of traders participated in the interaction and submitted their grievances and suggestions in writing. The concerned departmental officials responded to several issues on the spot, and necessary directions were issued for their prompt resolution.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Mr. Ranjit Pal Singh stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to providing a transparent, business-friendly environment to the trading community.

He further informed that the Traders’ Commission is continuously working towards ensuring timely and effective redressal of traders’ grievances. He assured that the issues raised during the meeting would be addressed in a time-bound manner, preferably within four weeks.
