Haryana Minister of State for Sports, Sh. Gaurav Gautam, said that the construction of the Kabaddi Academy building at Pai in district Kaithal is being carried out by the Public Works Department. About 90 percent of the construction work has been completed. He informed that the Sports Department has released an amount of Rs. 7.14 crore to the Public Works Department (Buildings and Roads).
Within this amount, a case for approval of the enhancement of civil and electrical work has been submitted by the Public Works (B&R) Department to the Government which is under consideration. The construction will be completed within two months after approval.
The Minister was responding to a question during the Budget Session of the State Vidhan Sabha here today.
