Haryana Irrigation and Water Resources Minister, Smt. Shruti Choudhry said that administrative approval has been granted by the government for the construction of a new over bridge at Kanthala village in Pehowa. The Minister was responding to a question during the Budget Session of the State Vidhan Sabha here today.
She said that the over bridge will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs.850.00 lakh. The design and detailed estimates for the project are currently being prepared. The Minister further said that considering the movement of traffic on the bridge located on the Kanthla–Malikpur road, it will be reconstructed with an increased carriageway width of 7.5 metres to ensure smoother and safer vehicular movement.
She added that the project is expected to be completed by June 30, 2027.
