Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister, Sh. Vipul Goel said that the ongoing construction projects of Navrang Rai Talab and Mahavir Park in Ambala city are currently under special investigation by the Anti-Corruption Bureau, and the findings are under consideration by the government. The Minister was responding to a question raised by a member during the ongoing budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
He said that at Navrang Rai Talab, the railing, Kota stone flooring, entrance gate, and electrical works have been completed on-site. For the remaining work, a Detailed Project Report (DPR) is being prepared, which is expected to be ready by March 31, 2026.
Regarding the Mahavir Park project, construction of the canteen, connecting bridge, lighting around the premises, and painting work are currently in progress. The DPR for the remaining works is being prepared and is expected to be completed by April 20, 2026. So far, a total of Rs.1879.51 crore has been spent on this project.
The Minister further mentioned that for completing the Bal Bhavan project, a revised estimate of Rs. 13.99 crore has been prepared, which includes provisions to complete the civil works of the building blocks. A separate DPR will be prepared for the remaining works.
