Haryana Revenue and Disaster Management Minister, Sh. Vipul Goel said that compensation will soon be provided to farmers in the Meham Assembly constituency for crop losses. An amount of Rs. 6.46 crore has already been released for this purpose. The Minister was responding to a question raised by a member during the ongoing budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
He shared that all claims uploaded by farmers on the e-Kshatipurti portal by September 15, 2025, have been verified by revenue officers. In addition, the data has been cross-checked with the PMFBY records of the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department, and the e-procurement portal data of the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department, Haryana.
As per government regulations, an amount of Rs. 6.46 crore has been released as compensation to the bank accounts of eligible farmers in the Meham constituency. This compensation will benefit approximately 9,000 eligible farmers across 30 villages in the Meham constituency.
