Haryana Irrigation and Water Resources Minister, Smt. Shruti Choudhry, said that a Pump House with a discharge capacity of 25 cusecs has been proposed to be installed at RD 39900/R of Sirsa Branch. So that, during the monsoon season floodwater near Samana Bahu and surrounding villages of Nilokheri could be discharged into the Sirsa Branch.
The estimated cost of this project is approximately Rs. 1.8 crore, and it has been targeted for completion by June 30, 2026. The Minister was responding to a question raised during the ongoing Budget Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
