The Minister was addressing a Holi Milan function as the Chief Guest at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School in village Kondal, district Palwal, on the occasion of Holi and Phag celebrations. He said that the festival of Holi also spreads awareness against social evils.
It is celebrated with love, affection, and goodwill. The festival of colours inspires everyone to live together in harmony and mutual respect. He further said that Holi in the Braj region is especially famous. Compared to other areas, the people of Braj celebrate the festival for several days, which adds to its cultural significance.
On Holi, people forget past grievances, embrace one another, and celebrate by applying colours and gulal, spreading happiness all around.
