Haryana Social Justice, Empowerment, SCs and BCs Welfare and Antyodaya Minister (SEWA), Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi said that the traditions of Sanatan Dharma are not merely religious rituals but represent the very soul of Indian culture. He said that grand events like the 108-Kund Maha Yagya, organised with the aim of environmental purification and reconnecting people with Sanatan culture, play an important role in uniting society and strengthening the spirit of nation-building.

Sh. Krishna Kumar Bedi was addressing a gathering late last evening in Jind during a religious programme, after participating in the Maha Aarti of the 103rd Maha Yagya being held under the guidance of Jagatguru Peethadhish Chakravarti Yagya Samrat Shri Shri 1008 Hariom Ji Maharaj.

He said that Indian culture is rooted in spirituality, morality and the highest ideals of humanity. Through their teachings, penance and sacrifice, saints and great personalities have guided society towards the path of truth, non-violence, compassion and service.

He further said that India has had a rich tradition of knowledge since ancient times. Sacred texts such as the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas and epics have guided human life for generations.

While the Ramayana teaches dignity, duty and ideal conduct, the Mahabharata conveys the victory of truth through the struggle between righteousness and unrighteousness. Similarly, the Bhagavad Gita inspires people to fulfil their duties, practise selfless action and remain strong in the face of life’s challenges.
