In Panipat, Rajya Sabha MP Kartikeya Sharma strongly reacted to the protest staged by Congress and Youth Congress during the AI Summit. He termed the move as inappropriate behavior and said it is unfortunate to obstruct development initiatives that rise above party politics.

MP Sharma had attended the annual function of a school in Panipat as the Chief Guest, where he also encouraged the students. Young leader Chanakya Pandit from the Brahmin community was also present at the event.

Do not turn development into a political battleground

Kartikeya Sharma said that events like the AI Summit do not belong to any single political party; their purpose is to create new employment opportunities for the youth of the country. He added that leaders from other parties had participated constructively, but Congress attempted to malign the event through protest. According to him, such behavior goes against the interests of the nation’s future and its youth.

AI is essential for future employment

Emphasizing the future of young people, Sharma said it is not possible for every child to secure a government job, but it must be ensured that every child gets employment. He stated that aligning education with technology, especially Artificial Intelligence, is essential to make India a developed nation. The AI Summit, he said, will prove to be a meaningful step for the younger generation.

Gyan Ganga Kendra for underprivileged students

Sharma also shared details about his new initiative, Gyan Ganga Kendra. Under this mission, support will be extended in every district to students who are academically capable but held back due to financial constraints. The initiative aims to provide comprehensive educational support to meritorious and economically weaker students.

Views on Haryana Budget and UGC issue

On the Haryana Budget, Sharma said that the state has received approximately 10,000 to 12,000 crore rupees from the Centre. This amount will primarily be used to strengthen the agriculture sector, directly benefiting farmers and residents of the state.

Regarding the UGC-related controversy, he stated that the matter is currently under consideration before the Supreme Court, and it would not be appropriate to comment. He expressed confidence that the law will take its course impartially.
