Haryana’s Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said that the India International Horticulture Expo is a strong step towards Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s goal of making India a developed nation by 2047. He stated that at the pace the government is working for the welfare of farmers, India will become a developed nation even before 2047.
He added that the stalls set up by various states and institutions at the International Horticulture Expo are introducing farmers to the latest technologies. The more knowledge farmers gain, the more progressive and prosperous they will become.
Agriculture Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana was speaking as the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the three-day India International Horticulture Expo and Rice & Grain Expo held in Karnal on Saturday. On the occasion, he visited stalls set up by various states, departments, and institutions and gathered detailed information about modern agricultural machinery.
