Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla was accorded a warm welcome on his arrival at Mandi today. He was welcomed by Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Chairman of the International Shivratri Mahotsav General body Chandra Shekhar, MLAs Anil Sharma, Inder Singh, Puran Chand, Deep Raj, Mayor Municipal Corporation Mandi Virender Bhatt, Vice-Chancellor of the Technical University Prof. Lalit Awasthi and other prominent people of the district.
Lady Governor Smt. Janaki Shukla also accompanied him. The Governor will attend the cultural evening today as the Chief Guest and will be present at the closing ceremony of the International Shivratri Mahotsav on Sunday.
