Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the government has been formed for the third time in the state on the strength of its integrity, policies and commitment to ‘Antyodaya’. He said the pace of development in Uchana will now be accelerated and no stone will be left unturned in ensuring the prosperity of the area.

The Chief Minister was addressing a Dhanyavad Rally in Uchana, Jind district, on Wednesday. He was welcomed by the rally organizer and MLA from Uchana Assembly constituency, Sh. Devender Chaterbhuj Attri. Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of five development projects worth ₹103.31 crore, including three inaugurations worth ₹28.54 crore and two foundation stones worth ₹74.77 crore.

Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister Sh. Ranbir Gangwa, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi, Deputy Speaker of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha Dr. Krishan Middha, and MLA Sh. Pawan Kharkhoda were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the land of Uchana represents a confluence of hard work, tradition and progress. He said that despite being the land of hardworking farmers, Uchana had long been neglected.

False promises were made and votes were taken for two to three generations, but little was done in the name of development. He alleged that those trapped in dynastic politics were never serious about the future of the people’s children and focused only on securing their own families’ future.

In contrast, the present government has ensured the region’s rightful development and will continue to do so.

78 out of 98 Announcements Fulfilled

The Chief Minister said that the government views politics not merely as a means to power but as a medium of service. In the past 11 years, 98 CM announcements were made for the development of Uchana Assembly constituency. Out of these, 78 have been fulfilled and 15 are under progress.

He stated that ₹1,409 crore has been spent on development works in Uchana during the past 11 years, compared to only ₹386 crore during the 10-year tenure of the Congress government. Under BJP rule, Uchana Tehsil was upgraded to Sub-Division and Alewa Sub-Tehsil was given the status of Tehsil.

He said that in its third term as well, the BJP government is working at full pace for public welfare, aiming not just to win elections but to win people’s trust. The opposition only levels allegations, whereas the government has a report card of the work done.

Government Fulfilling Its Promises

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the Congress government merely made hollow promises to seek votes. Today, the opposition is issue-less. He said that out of 217 commitments made in the party’s election manifesto, 60 have already been fulfilled within one year.

He said that in its third term, the government has taken concrete steps for holistic development and protection of all sections of society. Under this, poor women are being provided LPG cylinders at just ₹500 per month to support their households.

He added that farmers remain at the centre of government policies. While the Swaminathan Commission recommendations were ignored during Congress rule, the BJP government has consistently worked for farmers. Today, all crops in the state are being procured at Minimum Support Price (MSP). So far, ₹1.64 lakh crore has been transferred into the accounts of 12 lakh farmers for crop procurement.

In addition, over the past 11 years, ₹15,448 crore has been provided to farmers as compensation and under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. In contrast, only ₹1,138 crore was released as compensation during the 10-year Congress rule.

The Chief Minister said that Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party contest elections together, as seen during the Lok Sabha elections in Kurukshetra, but the public taught them a lesson. He said that in Punjab, AAP promised ₹1,000 per month to women, but with only 7–8 months left before elections, nothing has been delivered.

In contrast, the Haryana BJP government launched the ‘Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana’ to provide economic and social security to women. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹2,100 is provided. So far, more than 9.22 lakh women have received ₹634 crore under the scheme.

He further said that in the past year alone, 36,000 youths have been given government jobs without “parchi-kharchi. In total, 1.80 lakh jobs have been provided over the past 11 years.

Congress Spreading Misinformation

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that Congress is engaged solely in spreading misinformation. He said that to curb corruption under MGNREGA, the central government launched Viksit Bharat–G Ram G Gramin initiative, guaranteeing 125 days of employment instead of 100 and allocating ₹1,51,282 crore for the purpose. Yet, the Congress has been spreading misinformation about it as well.

He said the Congress promised 24-hour electricity but failed to deliver. It also tried to mislead people on the issue of pensions.

Uchana Moving Rapidly on the Path of Development: MLA Devender Chaterbhuj Attri

MLA Sh. Devender Chaterbhuj Attri said the Dhanyavad Rally is not just a programme but a message that Uchana is progressing rapidly on the path of development. With the BJP forming the government for the third time, the pace of development has further accelerated.

He thanked Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini for selecting six villages of Uchana for inclusion in the IMT. He said that earlier, those who won elections from Uchana remained engaged in politics in Delhi and Chandigarh and held high positions, but had little connection with the local people.
