Haryana Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa, said that education is the most powerful means for the progress of society, the state, and the nation. He said that in today’s competitive era, students should not limit themselves to bookish knowledge but should also adopt moral values, discipline, and good manners in their lives.
Ranbir Gangwa said this while addressing the annual function of PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School in village Gangwa, Hisar. The Public Health Engineering Minister encouraged students to set clear goals and move forward with hard work, dedication, and confidence.
He honoured talented students who excelled in academics, sports, and cultural activities, saying that honoring meritorious students serves as an inspiration for other students and fills them with new energy to move ahead. He wished the students a bright future and also appreciated the role of the teachers.
He assured that an auditorium will be constructed in the school premises and digital boards will be installed in classrooms. All school-related works will be completed on priority, he added.
During the programme, students presented cultural performances. The Minister said such events play an important role in the overall development of students and provide a platform to showcase and polish their hidden talents.
After the annual function, Sh. Gangwa interacted with villagers and local residents in the school premises and listened to their concerns. He discussed issues related to drinking water, roads, education, and health with the officers and directed the concerned departments to resolve the problems at the earliest on a priority basis.
