Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Shri Kartikeya Sharma attended the grand annual function of Gyan Ganga Global Academy in Jind as the Chief Guest. Upon his arrival, he was accorded a warm welcome by the school management and local dignitaries. During the programme, Shri Kartikeya Sharma sought the blessings of elders, planted saplings to convey the message of environmental responsibility, and formally inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Haryana Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Shri Dr. Krishna Middha was also present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Kartikeya Sharma said that the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for a Developed India has today become the shared aspiration of 140 crore Indians.

He stated that the roadmap for making India a developed nation by 2047 is now clearly visible through decisive policies, people-centric budgets, and India’s growing global stature. Referring to the recent Union Budget, Shri Kartikeya Sharma said it reflects the government’s serious commitment towards economic strength, investment growth, and employment generation.

Provisions related to data centres, income tax relief, and investor-friendly policies are aimed at attracting global companies to India, which will directly benefit the youth, middle class, and entrepreneurs. He added that these measures are laying a strong foundation for sustained economic growth.

Shri Kartikeya Sharma highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has significantly strengthened its position on the global stage. Trade agreements with the United States and economic engagements with the European Union’s 28 nations are evidence of India’s rising credibility and leadership in the global economy.

These developments, he said, are preparing India to emerge as a major manufacturing hub, innovation centre, and a global factory, creating large-scale employment opportunities in the years to come. Placing strong emphasis on education and youth empowerment, Shri Kartikeya Sharma made a major national-level announcement from the sacred land of Jind.

He announced that India’s largest quiz competition will be organised for schools across the country, with a prize money of ₹1 crore for the winning school team. He called upon all schools in Jind and Haryana to participate enthusiastically, stating that this competition will not only test knowledge but also nurture competitive spirit, innovation, and leadership among students.

During the programme, Shri Kartikeya Sharma and Deputy Speaker Shri Dr. Krishna Middha also inaugurated an administrative building constructed by the Radhe-Radhe Charitable Trust. On this occasion, Shri Kartikeya Sharma announced the establishment of an AI-based “Gyan Ganga Centre” at the academy, aimed at providing students access to modern technology, artificial intelligence, and future-ready skills.

He said that the coming era belongs to technology, and India’s youth have the potential to lead this transformation globally. Speaking on reforms in government recruitment, Shri Kartikeya Sharma said that Haryana has witnessed a decisive shift from the earlier system of favouritism to a transparent, merit-based framework.

He noted that today, even children from poor and ordinary families are progressing on the strength of their hard work and capability. He acknowledged the role of Shri Pandit Vinod Sharma in raising this issue and appreciated the leadership of former Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal and present Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini for institutionalising merit-based governance.

Responding to criticism from the opposition, Shri Kartikeya Sharma said that those who earlier questioned India’s global diplomacy are now left confused, as international agreements and outcomes speak for themselves. He added that the public clearly understands the difference today, which is why their trust continues to strengthen in the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini.

On a query related to UGC matters, Shri Kartikeya Sharma stated that the issue is currently under consideration by the Supreme Court, and therefore it would not be appropriate to comment on it. He expressed full faith in the judiciary to deliver a balanced and just decision.

Concluding his address, Shri Kartikeya Sharma said that education, technology, merit, transparency, and decisive leadership form the true foundation of a Developed India. He asserted that progressive districts like Jind will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the nation, and the coming generations will take pride in this transformational journey.
