Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini directed action against a Forest Department officer who allegedly pressured an employee to sign fake bills. In a complaint, Gurmeet informed the Chief Minister that he is retired from the Army and is now working in the Forest Department. A Forest Department officer has been pressuring him to sign fake bills, and when he refused, he was threatened with action.
The Chief Minister reprimanded officials and employees who showed negligence in resolving the problems of people from the Ladwa Assembly constituency. He said that when a citizen approaches with a problem, officials should take immediate cognizance and resolve it promptly. Strict action will be taken against officers and employees who make people run from pillar to post.
The Chief Minister was hearing public grievances during a Jan Samvad programme organized in Ladwa on Wednesday. Former Minister of State Sh. Subhash Sudha was also present on the occasion. During the programme, around 225 complaints were heard and officials were given necessary directions for their on-the-spot resolution.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini directed the Deputy Commissioner to investigate corruption allegations in the solar light installation project of Subhash, a resident of Kalal Majra, and submit a report against the officials involved. The Chief Minister also directed the Deputy Commissioner to investigate the issue of non-payment of diet money to players at Tatki Nursery.
In his complaint, one Baljinder stated that players have not been receiving diet money since June 15, 2024. Similarly, the Police Department was directed that if charges against a fraud accused have been proven, his property should be attached.
On Rajiv’s complaint, the Chief Minister directed the Electricity Department official to investigate the entire matter and find out how and by whom a power theft case was registered when the family does not reside there. A complete report was sought in this regard. Likewise, on the complaint of Mahender, a resident of Kalal Majra, directions were given to provide electricity supply to 20 houses in his dera.
During the programme, Veerpal informed the Chief Minister that he is disabled and both his parents have passed away, and he does not have sufficient funds for his sister’s marriage. The Chief Minister assured him of financial assistance for his sister’s wedding. Similarly, on Rajni’s complaint, the Deputy Commissioner was instructed to coordinate with the Lead Bank Manager to provide her assistance.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that colonies fulfilling eligibility criteria will soon be declared regularized. After regularization, these colonies will be provided with all basic facilities. The Chief Minister made this statement while hearing complaints related to drinking water and sanitation issues in unauthorized colonies.
He also reprimanded an officer regarding the leaking sewer pipeline in Ladwa city and directed that the leakage be repaired by evening. Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that in Haryana, senior citizens are being granted old-age pension automatically after they complete 60 years of age and their age is verified through the Parivar Pehchan Patra, without any application.
Complaints regarding pension cuts being received across the state are being resolved at the departmental level.
