Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will once again register a massive victory and hoist the flag of success in the upcoming municipal elections in the state. He said that today the BJP’s “development train” is running at full speed across the country.
Sh. Vij said that the BJP achieved a historic victory in the Haryana Assembly elections, followed by winning the trust of the people in Delhi and Bihar as well. He added that the party also achieved success in the BMC elections in Maharashtra, and now the BJP will form the government in West Bengal too.
Energy Minister was speaking to media representatives in Hisar today. He said that the people of the country have now clearly understood that the Bharatiya Janata Party alone is capable of ensuring the overall development of the nation and is working honestly for the upliftment of the common people.
Responding to questions regarding the stoppage of pensions in Haryana, Sh. Vij clarified that no eligible person’s pension has been stopped illegally. If anyone’s pension has been withheld and they have an objection, they may file a complaint with the concerned department and submit their documents.
He explained that when a person’s income exceeds the prescribed limit, the pension is automatically discontinued, as it is linked to income. Regarding protests by the opposition on this issue, he said that staging protests is their democratic right.
Reacting to allegations by opposition leader Sh. Bhupinder Singh Hooda that the Union Budget has given nothing to farmers, Sh. Vij said that several important provisions have been made in the budget in the interest of farmers. He remarked that Sh. Hooda neither reads the budget properly nor listens to its details. Taking a dig, he said that Sh. Hooda seems disturbed these days because he is no longer being taken seriously within his own party.
He added that Sh. Hooda should understand the provisions of the budget, which also include Artificial Intelligence–based programmes to support farmers. Replying to a question regarding the BJP state president, Sh. Anil Vij said that “I am a very small worker of the party.
The decision on who will become the state president will be taken by the party’s top leadership.”
