Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini paid a special visit to Sri Bhaini Sahib on the occasion of the 210th Prakash Purab of Satguru Ram Singh Ji and the Basant Panchami fair. The religious congregation was organised in the august presence of Satguru Uday Singh Ji.

On his arrival in the Sahnewal Assembly constituency, the Chief Minister was warmly welcomed by BJP spokesperson Shri Pritpal Singh Baliawal. Several senior BJP leaders and party workers were also present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini paid rich tributes to Satguru Ram Singh Ji and highlighted his immense contribution to India’s freedom struggle through the Kuka Movement.

He also acknowledged and appreciated the sacrifices made by the Namdhari community for the nation and lauded their continued contribution to society and national development. During the event, members of the Namdhari community placed a demand before the Chief Minister for the establishment of a special chair in the name of Satguru Ram Singh Ji at Kurukshetra University.

The Chief Minister assured that the demand would be duly considered and fulfilled upon receipt of a formal written proposal. Responding to a question regarding the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme in Punjab, Shri Saini remarked that the Punjab government, having failed to deliver meaningful governance over the past four years, is now announcing such schemes merely to create confusion among the people. Commenting on the law and order situation in Punjab, the Chief Minister expressed serious concern and stated that the situation has deteriorated significantly, adding that the people of Punjab are eager for a change from what he termed an ineffective government.

Prominent leaders present on the occasion included senior leader of Sahnewal Assembly constituency Shri Pawan Kumar (former District President), Shri Nishu Sharma (Samrala), Shri Heera Singh (Amargarh), Shri Manmeet Singh Chawla, Shri Pinku Sharma (Councillor), Shri Rashpal Singh (Sahnewal), Shri Sandeep Thakur, and Shri Vinay Kumar (Mandal President), among others.
