BJP leader from North Assembly Constituency, Akshay Sharma, celebrated the festival of Lohri today by flying kites using traditional cotton thread. On this occasion, he appealed to people to stay away from Chinese kite string and boycott it completely.
While flying a dragon kite, Akshay Sharma said that kite flying is a popular hobby among the youth, but no hobby should put human lives at risk. That is why he chose to fly kites with traditional thread, conveying the message that hobbies should be enjoyed responsibly without causing harm to others.
He also extended his heartfelt Lohri greetings to everyone and encouraged people to celebrate the festival together with their families and loved ones in a spirit of harmony and safety.
