“Devotion is not merely a word, but a conscious journey of how we live our lives,” said Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj while addressing devotees at the sacred ‘Bhakti Parv Samagam’ held at the Sant Nirankari Spiritual Complex in Samalkha, Haryana. With the grace of Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, apart from Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Bhakti Parv was also organized in Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhavans of all the branches of Chandigarh zone where many devotees participated.

The holy gathering was graced by the divine presence of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji. The atmosphere was filled with devotion, faith and spiritual joy. Thousands of devotees from Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Delhi-NCR and across India and abroad participated in the Samagam and experienced deep spiritual peace through satsang.

On this sacred occasion, heartfelt remembrance was made of Param Sant Santokh Singh Ji and other great saints, honouring their penance, sacrifice and invaluable contribution in spreading Brahmgyan. Devotees drew inspiration from their lives and pledged to follow the values of devotion, service and surrender.

During the Samagam, speakers, poets and singers presented soulful expressions through their respective art forms, spreading messages of devotion, Guru’s glory and human welfare. Their presentations deeply touched the hearts of the devotees and enriched them spiritually.

Explaining the true meaning of devotion, Satguru Mata Ji said that devotion is not about names or external show, but about an inner journey of awareness. True devotion means self-introspection—correcting our own shortcomings before pointing at others—and living a mindful life.

Mistakes made unknowingly can be corrected, but intentionally hurting others through excuses or clever words cannot be called devotion. A true devotee heals like a balm. Seeing the formless divine in everyone, behaving with simplicity and purity, and sustaining this awareness through service, remembrance and satsang after receiving Brahmgyan is real devotion.

Ultimately, devotion is a choice—not of name, but of life. Before Satguru Mata Ji, Nirankari Rajpita Ji shared that devotion is not about position, identity or self-defined meanings. It is a way of life that emerges naturally after receiving Brahmgyan, where ego and doership dissolve.

Saints followed Guru’s words effortlessly, while today people often justify not doing so. Truth and devotion are the same—when devotion is linked to achievements or ego, the sense of “I am the doer” remains alive.

Devotion is not a deal, but a choice of love, where there is effort without pride. Therefore, the prayer is to drop all self-made definitions and live a life where obedience, service, remembrance and fellowship become natural, because devotion defined by the ego is not true devotion.

Satguru Mata Ji also described the lives of Mata Savinder Ji and Rajmata Ji as living examples of devotion, surrender and selfless service, stating that their lives continue to inspire devotees towards service and dedication to the Nirankari Mission. The core principle of the Nirankari Mission is that devotion becomes meaningful only after realizing the divine truth.

Undoubtedly, the profound discourses of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj inspired devotees to understand the true essence of devotion through Brahmgyan and to practice it in their daily lives.
