Haryana Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister, Sh. Ranbir Singh Gangwa on Friday visited Dabwali Railway Station, where he interacted with passengers and distributed pamphlets encouraging the adoption of Swadeshi products under the campaign ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi.’ He motivated passengers to use Swadeshi products and urged them to support Indian entrepreneurs and artisans, thereby contributing to the creation of a strong and self-reliant India.
The general public present at the station was also made aware of the importance of embracing Swadeshi. The Cabinet Minister said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has appealed to the people of the country to use Swadeshi and locally manufactured products at home, so that India can become self-reliant.
He stated that history stands witness to the fact that whether it was the freedom struggle or any major national movement, the people of India have always united and successfully accomplished tasks in the national interest. Sh. Ranbir Singh Gangwa said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, the country has been progressing continuously for the past 11 years. During the global COVID-19 pandemic, India did not have PPE kits, gloves, or ventilators.
However, adopting the mantra “Aapda Mein Avasar” (Opportunity in Crisis), India not only met its own needs but also helped other countries by supplying medical equipment and vaccines. This was a historic milestone in the direction of self-reliance. The Cabinet Minister said that by the year 2047, when the country completes 100 years of independence, the Prime Minister has set the goal of making India a developed nation, and this goal is entirely achievable.
He said that under the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign, every citizen should resolve to buy products made in India. This will increase GDP, generate employment opportunities, and strengthen the economy. He emphasized that everyone should begin this effort themselves. When we prioritize Swadeshi in everyday products then the country’s entrepreneurs and industries will truly become strong, he added.
