Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister,  Sh. Anil Vij chaired the District Grievances Redressal Committee meeting in Sirsa today. Speaking to the media persons afterwards, he informed that out of 17 complaints received, 6 were resolved on the spot, while 11 will be taken up in the next meeting after necessary information is gathered.

He said that based on complaints, two personnel—including a police official and an energy department employee were suspended. He said that i deliver justice on the basis of complaints. If someone has done wrong, action will certainly be taken.

He also mentioned that there was a complaint regarding illegal cutting of 31 trees and a committee has been formed to investigate the matter on-site. If irregularities are found, strict action will be taken, he assured.

“No One at Fault Regarding Vehicle Issue” – Vij

When asked about the recent incident in Kurukshetra where he did not receive a vehicle during Gita Jayanti celebrations, Vij clarified that No one is at fault—not even the administration. I wasn’t scheduled to go there nor was I officially invited.

I had gone to Ambala Air Force Station to welcome Defence Minister, Sh. Rajnath Singh ji. He invited me spontaneously to accompany him to Kurukshetra on the helicopter. After reaching, I sat in his car to Brahma Sarovar, but later someone else sat in that car. It was a small issue and absolutely no one is to be blamed.

Responding to another question he said that now citizens trust only those leaders and parties that deliver results—and that is BJP  and Sh. Narendra Modi. Expressing grief over the recent deaths of two sportspersons in the state, Sh. Vij said that, he is deeply saddened by the death of the players.

A probe will be conducted and strict action will be taken against those responsible. On his political journey, Sh. Vij further said that he never desired to become anything. The party assigns responsibilities based on capability, and I fulfill whatever role I am given, he added.
