Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that “I have never had any desires, nor have I ever asked for anything. Whenever elections take place, all MLAs go to Delhi — some to seek ministerial posts, some to seek departments — but I have never gone to Delhi for such reasons. Even when the Chief Minister was being decided, I remained in Ambala Cantt.”

Sh. Vij said this while addressing media persons after a meeting of the District Grievance Redressal Committee held in Kaithal today.

“In the party I belong to, we are taught ‘Don’t desire, but deserve it’” – Vij

He said that “Some media colleagues asked me about why everyone was going to Delhi. I was the senior-most in 2014 and I am still the senior-most even today, but I have never demanded anything. The party I belong to has always taught us: ‘Don’t desire, but deserve it.’ This lesson was ingrained in me since childhood, and that thinking cannot be erased. I still follow that principle.”

“The aware people of Bihar have uprooted ‘jungle raj’ from its roots” – Vij

Responding to a question on the Bihar elections, Sh. Vij said that “The aware people of Bihar have uprooted jungle raj from its roots. They have also given a strong response to the politics of criminality.

This is the victory of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development model. It is the result of the policies of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is the Chanakya of today’s politics. It is also the result of Nitish Kumar’s clean image and his work. This is a message the entire nation should take note of, he added.”

“Rahul Gandhi’s real standing has been exposed; he has nothing good to offer” – Vij

In response to questions about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Vij said that “Rahul Gandhi’s real standing has been exposed before everyone. He only does politics based on lies, fraud and misinformation. People do not like such politics, and he has nothing positive to say.”

Speaking on Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of ‘vote theft’, Sh. Vij said that“He claims that votes were duplicated two or three times, but why does he not say who benefitted from those votes? One can know the benefit or loss only after knowing where those votes were cast. Rahul Gandhi has never mentioned this, nor filed a complaint, nor submitted anything in writing till date.”

He further said that the Election Commission gives every party the right to appoint polling agents. “If a Brazilian woman cast multiple votes, why did the Congress polling agent not object at that moment? And what action has Congress taken against their polling agent?”

“Rahul Gandhi should stop doing politics and jump into a pond to catch fish” – Vij

Giving another example, Sh. Vij said that “In Ambala district’s Mullana area, a woman was found to have 232 votes registered in her name, while both the MLA and MP from Mullana are from Congress. This clearly shows that Congress itself is involved in such fraud. Rahul Gandhi is misleading the people, but the voters of Bihar have given him a clear reply.

Congress has been completely uprooted.” He added humorously, “Rahul Gandhi should not do politics; he should jump into a pond and start catching fish instead.”

“I have tried to ensure justice in every case” – Vij

Responding to questions regarding the Grievance Redressal Committee meeting, Sh. Vij said that he always tries to ensure justice in every case. He said grievances are placed as per the agenda, and additional complaints received directly from citizens are handed over to the administration with instructions to take action and inform the complainants about the action.

A murder case will be sent to the government for CBI inquiry – Vij

Sh. Vij said that “During the meeting, a murder case was discussed where the police have not been able to determine how the death occurred. Family members have named 5–6 people who could be responsible, yet police have not been able to extract the truth. One of the suspects has even fled abroad, perhaps because he knows the facts.

Police issued summons but no meaningful progress has been made. Therefore, I believe this case should now be handed over to the CBI. We will send it to the government for CBI investigation, he added.”
