Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Phase 2, organized a Motorcycle Awareness Rally to spread the message of Breast Cancer Awareness and highlight the importance of early detection and regular screening. The rally's primary goal was to encourage women to prioritize their health and to break the social stigma associated with discussing breast cancer.

More than 40 motorcycle riders participated in this awareness campaign with great enthusiasm and a spirit of social improvement. Two prominent rider groups, 'The Mohan Tigers' and 'Mittran Di Motorcycle Mandli,' played a vital role in leading the rally, significantly enhancing the visibility and impact of the awareness message across the city.

The rally was flagged off by J.S. Bedi, Chairman of the Gian Jyoti Group and  Principal Director Ranjit Bedi. Starting from the GJIMT campus in Phase 2, the rally passed through various key markets in the city before concluding back at the campus.

Throughout the drive, the riders captured the attention of citizens and raised awareness through banners, slogans, and interpersonal outreach. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director of the Gian Jyoti Institute, emphasized that breast cancer is treatable when detected early, and awareness is key to saving lives.

She stated that the initiative aims to encourage women to undergo timely screenings and to ensure that this crucial message reaches both urban and rural communities.
