Deputy Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Chairman of Shri Renukaji Development Board Vinay Kumar along with Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur and Vice Chairperson of the Board Priyanka Verma called on Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan, today. During the courtesy call, they extended a formal invitation to the Governor to attend the closing ceremony of the International Shri Renukaji Fair-2025 as the Chief Guest. 

The fair is scheduled to be held from 31st October  to 5th November, 2025 at the sacred Renuka Ji Lake in district Sirmaur. The delegation apprised the Governor of the various cultural, spiritual and developmental activities planned during the fair, which is one of the most significant religious and cultural events of the State, attracting thousands of devotees and tourists every year.

Shiv Pratap Shukla appreciated the efforts of the Shri Renukaji Development Board and the district administration for their initiatives in preserving the region’s cultural heritage and promoting tourism through such festivals. He also conveyed his best wishes for the successful organisation of the fair.

The Secretary to the Governor, C.P. Verma, was also present on the occasion.
