Minister of State for Sports ,Sh. Gaurav Gautam, today listened to the 126th episode of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ in Palwal on Sunday. He said that the Prime Minister has shared the experiences of citizens who contribute to the nation through their hard work, which serves as an inspiration for the general public.

Emphasizing the importance of the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative, he appealed to the public to prioritise local and indigenous products. We should purchase such indigenous products that carry the essence of our land and reflect the hard work of our country’s workers.

Promoting indigenous products will not only strengthen India’s economic power but also provide employment opportunities for local artisans and entrepreneurs. Making and adopting indigenous products is the true identity of a self-reliant and developed India.

Addressing the youth in particular, he urged them to play a crucial role in advancing the nation and establishing India as a strong nation on the global stage. He also referred to the new GST tax slabs implemented across the country by the Central Government from September 22, stating that the government has given citizens a wonderful gift during the festive season. The Prime Minister has played a key role in making complex subjects like GST simple and transparent, said the Minister.
