Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s Meer Foundation, which focuses on the rehabilitation of acid attack survivors, is supporting Roundglass Foundation in implementing flood relief efforts in Punjab.
With the support of Meer Foundation, Roundglass Foundation has been able to impact 5,000 people across flood-affected areas such as Chakul in Amritsar; Ghaniey ki Bet in Gurdaspur; Dhani Mohna Ram, Dhani Gurkha, Gatti No. 3, and Sabuana in Fazilka; and Gati Razo Ke and Tendiwala in Ferozpur.
Expressing his gratitude to the Meer Foundation, Vishal Chowla, Leader, Roundglass Foundation, said, “We are deeply grateful to Shah Rukh Khan ji for extending a helping hand to us through his Meer Foundation. His support gives us strength, hope, and belief that we will be able to help Punjab get back on its feet after the devastating floods”.
Roundglass Foundation has been actively supporting relief efforts in the worst-hit districts Gurdaspur, Fazilka, Firozepur, Amritsar, Pathankot working in close coordination with the district administrations and the Government of Punjab.
With deep roots in 2,900 villages and a reach of 3 million (30 lakh) people, the Roundglass Foundation is uniquely positioned to deliver both rapid relief and long-term rehabilitation. Currently, the Roundglass Foundation is focused on providing food, clean water, medical support, and temporary shelter to displaced families.
In the long run, the team plans to undertake recovery and rehabilitation efforts, including rebuilding homes, restoring schools and health centres, reviving livelihoods, and repairing critical infrastructure. It is committed to rebuilding village communities with sustained relief and rehabilitation work and by urging people to join them in these efforts.

Punjab is reeling from the worst floods since 1988.
