Under the leadership of Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao, significant progress is being made in strengthening healthcare infrastructure across the state. Construction and development works worth Rs 2.93 crore for various Sub Health Centres (SHCs) and Block Primary Health Units (BPHUs) have been initiated in several villages of the Kosli constituency in Rewari district.
Work has commenced on Sub-Health Centres (SHCs) in Choki No. 2 village of Jatusana Block, Motla Kalan village of Dahina Block, and Lookhi village of Nahar Block. These projects are currently progressing up to the plinth level. In the Nahar Block, a Block Public Health Unit is under construction in Kosli village. Additionally, SHCs are being developed in Nehrugarh (Gamdi) village in Nahar block and Dhawana village of Dahina Block.
Speaking about the projects, Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said, “Our government is committed to strengthening healthcare facilities at the grassroots level. By developing new Sub-Health Centres and Block Public Health Units, we aim to bring quality medical services closer to rural people, reducing the distance people need to travel for treatment.”
She said healthcare is the foundation of a strong society and once completed, these healthcare facilities will provide enhanced medical services to the people of Rewari district and contribute significantly towards strengthening the public health system.
These projects form part of the state government’s larger vision of expanding healthcare infrastructure and improving accessibility for both rural and urban populations. These healthcare centres will also generate local employment opportunities, strengthen maternal and child health services, and enable faster emergency response in rural areas.
