Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania held a meeting with Dr. Tina Richardson, Chancellor of Penn State Lehigh Valley, to discuss the progress and future of the collaborations between Himachal Pradesh and Penn State University, USA. Himachal Pradesh and Penn State University are expanding global academic partnerships through the University's growing undergraduate initiatives in Himachal.

Launched in 2022 with pilot projects in two colleges, the initiative - led by Dr. Vasu Singh, Advisor to Penn State Global Affairs - has already demonstrated remarkable progress, fostering cross-cultural learning opportunities and academic exchange. The Deputy Chief Whip said that the meeting was insightful and productive.

The representatives of the University reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen, expand and further promote the educational partnership with Himachal Pradesh. MLA Vinod Sultanpuri and other dignitaries were also present at the meeting.
