Paras Health Panchkula, in association with the Media Student Association Haryana and the Indian Media Centre, formally launched the Tiranga Yatra 2025 from its Sector-22 facility near Nada Sahib Gurudwara on Monday evening. The week-long journey to Kashmir, culminating on Independence Day, seeks to unite citizens through cultural exchanges, patriotic events, and community engagement, with a strong emphasis on youth leadership.
The initiative has brought together nearly 200 participants, including 100 female media students, volunteers from 18 cities of Haryana, and special guests such as journalists, writers, and ex-army officers. The ceremonial commencement was led by Hon’ble Kulbhushan Goyal, Mayor of Panchkula, alongside Guest of Honour Smt. Srishti Gupta, DCP Panchkula.
“This Tiranga Yatra is a living journey of what India stands for. When I see young people, especially so many women, carrying the tricolor across states, I see them carrying the responsibility of keeping our unity alive. They are not just celebrating Independence Day; they are showing that the values of courage, respect, and inclusion can still guide our future,” said Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal.
Echoing this sentiment, DCP Srishti Gupta said, “This rally is breaking barriers in the most meaningful way, by taking people out of their comfort zones and connecting them with communities they might never otherwise meet. Every interaction along this route is an exchange of culture, language, and stories. It proves that unity is not built in speeches; it’s built when people walk side by side towards a shared goal.”
