Recently, Sukhwinder Singh Bindra, National Member of NISD and Special Invitee in NCCDR, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (Government of India), attended the “Run for Peace” Marathon as the Chief Guest.Bindra said that running is one of life’s greatest virtues because what you put into it is what you get out of it.
Running keeps the human body fit, and in today’s times, it helps a person avoid many physical and mental illnesses. He thanked the management of Shri Ram Global School, South City, for organising the 5 km “Run for Health” marathon, calling it an excellent initiative to encourage sports and fitness among the youth.
More than 1,000 young people and students participated in this Run for Peace.He further said that the Modi Government is dedicated to the development of youth, and his department is always committed to keeping the younger generation away from drugs.
On this occasion, Bindra extended special thanks to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment , Dr. Virendra Kumar, stating that every possible effort will be made for the development of youth.During the event, prizes were distributed to all winners, and the youth were encouraged to actively participate in sports to remain physically and mentally healthy.
