In a major step towards improving rural healthcare services, the Haryana Government has approved a new Sub Health Centre (SHC) at Pingaltu village in Palwal district. The initiative is aimed at providing quality primary healthcare services to the rural population and reducing the burden on district-level hospitals.

Health Minister Arti Singh Rao informed that Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has granted approval for the construction and opening of Sub Health Centre at Pingaltu village in Palwal district. “The health and well-being of every citizen is a top priority for the Haryana Government.

The opening of the Sub Health Centre in Pingaltu is a testament to our commitment to strengthen grassroots healthcare infrastructure. This will particularly benefit women, children and elderly residents who will now have easier access to essential health services near their homes,” she said.

“Under Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini’s leadership, we are witnessing a rapid transformation in public health services, with a special focus on rural and underserved regions. The government is not just building infrastructure but bringing essential services right to people’s doorsteps.

The centre in Pingaltu will serve as a model for primary healthcare delivery in remote areas,” the Health Minister added. Notably, the project is part of a key announcement made by Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, underscoring the state government's commitment to expanding and modernizing healthcare infrastructure across Haryana.

The new SHC will be staffed with one Male Multipurpose Health Worker (MPHW-M), one Female Multipurpose Health Worker (MPHW-F) and one Helper. The centre will provide essential health services such as maternal and child care, immunization, disease prevention, and basic treatment for the local population. Equipment, medicines and basic infrastructure will be provided to ensure the centre is fully functional and patient-ready from the beginning.
