Giving a new direction to the development of the Badkhal assembly constituency in Faridabad, Union Minister of State for Cooperation Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar today inaugurated the renovation and beautification work of 10 parks located in Ward No. 20 of Municipal Corporation Faridabad in Sector-45 and 46. The total cost of the project is approximately Rs 2 crore.

The Union Minister stated that both the Central and State Governments are continuously undertaking development works in Faridabad. Under the principle of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas," equal development is being ensured across every sector, colony, and village of Faridabad without any discrimination.

He informed that to rid Faridabad of the web of overhead electricity wires, a budget of Rs 2,800 crore has been approved by the Central Government. Tenders for this project have already been issued and will be opened soon. As part of the plan, all electricity cables in the city will be placed underground within the next one and a half to two years.

This will not only enhance the city's beauty but also allow for road widening with the removal of electricity poles. Additionally, it will prevent unnecessary trimming of trees, thus promoting green cover. He also mentioned that over the past 11 years, there has been remarkable improvement in roads and highway connectivity in Faridabad.

The Narendra Modi-led Central Government, former Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal, and current Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Saini are working with full commitment for the holistic development of Faridabad. He assured that in the coming years, Faridabad will be established as an ideal and well-developed city in every respect.
