In a grand celebration blending sports, stardom, and corporate brilliance, Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) Season 11 champions ‘Punjab De Sher’ were honoured at a gala event titled “A Night with the Champions”, hosted by Punjab Angels Network. The chief guest for the evening was Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and UT Administrator, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria.
The event took place on Sunday at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh. The star-studded night witnessed the presence of eminent dignitaries from the state, including senior bureaucrats, leading industrialists, celebrated artists, and sports enthusiasts, who came together to salute the team’s exceptional victory.
The event featured the team owners Puneet Singh, Navraj Hans, and Karan Gilhotra; Padma Shri awardees Hans Raj Hans and Jaspinder Narula; and a host of well-known celebrities including Aparshakti Khurana, Ammy Virk, Binnu Dhillon, Harrdy Sandhu, Manmeet Singh (of Meet Bros), Suyyash Rai, Anuj Khurana, Rahul Jaitley, Mayur Mehta, Balraj Sayal, Gavie Chahal, Daksh, Gulzar, Ninja, Jassie Gill, Babbal Rai, Yuvraj Hans, and many more.
Punjab De Sher clinched the CCL 11 title with a dominant eight-wicket win over Chennai Rhinos in the final match held at the Karnataka State Cricket Association Ground, Mysuru.
Led by the charismatic Harrdy Sandhu, the team showcased a consistently strong performance throughout the tournament.
