Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal chaired a meeting today to assess the progress of ongoing road and bridge projects being executed in different parts of the district under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).
At the outset, the Executive Engineer PMGSY presented a detailed overview of the status of the road and bridge projects, highlighting both completed and ongoing. The Deputy Commissioner conducted a thorough evaluation of each project, particularly discussing the status of bridge constructions associated with different road projects.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the urgency of completing the Bufliaz to Mandi Phagla BT work and instructed the ACR and SDM Surankote to facilitate the demarcation of the Mandi-Phagla road. He urged all concerned authorities to accelerate their efforts to meet the deadlines set for project completion.
The meeting was attended by the ACR, Executive Engineer of PMGSY, along with all Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs), Assistant Engineers (AEs), and Junior Engineers (JEs) from the PMGSY Department, all committed to driving progress in rural infrastructure development.
