Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election, Sanjeev Arora, on Wednesday visited Shri Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital located in Harnam Nagar. The visit was marked by the presence of Punjab Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu, Municipal Councillor Gurkaran Singh Tinna, and Managing Committee Gurdwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha (Harnam Nagar) president Gurmeet Singh Saluja.

During his visit, Arora took a round of the hospital premises and lauded the charitable medical services being rendered by the Gurdwara committee for the welfare of the underprivileged. He emphasized the importance of healthcare infrastructure at the grassroots level and highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the state government has successfully set up nearly 900 Mohalla Clinics across Punjab.

These clinics are providing free primary healthcare to lakhs of citizens every day. Arora said Ludhiana has witnessed unprecedented development in the last three years. He appealed to the people to vote for him in large numbers in the upcoming bypoll, stating that higher voter turnout translates into stronger public mandate and faster development.

He also encouraged residents of Ludhiana (West) to set a new example by registering record-breaking polling. Punjab Minister Bhullar echoed similar sentiments and urged the local electorate to strengthen Arora’s hands for the continuation of ongoing welfare and infrastructure projects.

Meanwhile, Gurmeet Singh Saluja, who heads the managing committee of the Gurdwara running the hospital, extended his best wishes to Arora for the bypoll. He expressed hope that Arora would revisit the hospital after securing a decisive victory.
