In the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the Naveen Jindal Foundation and the Skill Development and Industrial Training Department, Haryana, for the establishment of the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule International Skill Centre at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule ITI, Bahlolpur in Kurukshetra district. 

The ITI will now be developed into an international-level skill centre and will be operated by the Naveen Jindal Foundation.Member of Parliament Sh Naveen Jindal and Hisar MLA and former Minister Smt. Savitri Jindal were also present on the occasion. During the event, the Chief Minister released a souvenir highlighting the achievements of MP Naveen Jindal.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Kurukshetra will play a pivotal role in realizing Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047. He expressed confidence that MP Naveen Jindal alongwith him would be at the forefront of achieving this goal and that by 2030, Kurukshetra and Kaithal would be recognized among the leading regions of the country. 

He commended Sh Jindal for fulfilling the promises he made to the people, one after another.MP Naveen Jindal, while presenting a report on his first year in office, said that his vision is to ensure that the youth of the region gain meaningful employment opportunities abroad—not as unskilled labourers, but as trained professionals. 

He emphasized the importance of high-quality skill training to empower youth to pursue both self-employment and job opportunities in India and overseas. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has constantly emphasized on skill based education since 2014. Taking inspiration from him, work is being done towards completing these tasks in Kurukshetra parliamentary constituency.

Also present at the event were Additional Chief Secretary Skill Development and Industrial Training Department Vijayendra Singh, Advisor Foreign Cooperation Department Pawan Chaudhary, and other senior officials.
