Spearheading 'Nasha Mukti Yatra' in ward number 90, Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga and Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar vowed to eradicate the menace of drugs from the state.

Addressing the gathering during an event held at Shahpur road, MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi, MLA Madan Lal Bagga and Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar reiterated the state’s resolute commitment to making Punjab drug-free and ensuring a brighter future for its youth.

They stated that the Nasha Mukti Yatra has been commenced under the state government's Yudh Nashya Virudh campaign. Working under the leadership of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government is taking decisive action to root out the menace of drugs from the state.

They urged the residents to report drug traffickers, assuring confidentiality through a dedicated WhatsApp helpline 97791-00200 and encouraged those struggling with addiction to seek free treatment at government-supported de-addiction centers.

MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi, MLA Madan Lal Bagga and Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar added that the government is breaking the backbone of the drug trade, but the real victory lies in the hands of our people. They emphasized the importance of community participation and vowed to eradicate drugs from the state.
