In a celebration of cinematic grandeur and cultural exchange, the 72nd Miss World 2025 contestants embarked on a memorable tour of the iconic Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, Telangana. Recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's largest film studio complex, Ramoji Film City spans over 2,000 acres and has been a hub for global filmmaking and tourism, attracting millions of visitors each year. The 108 Miss World contestants were welcomed with a grand red carpet reception, complete with a traditional Indian 'arti' and 'tikka' ceremony, accompanied by a live band. Each contestant was adorned with a 'motimala' garland, symbolizing the warmth and hospitality of Indian culture. This vibrant welcome set the tone for a day filled with discovery and cinematic wonder. The contestants then posed for a group photograph, capturing the unity and elegance of this global gathering.

The journey through Ramoji Film City began with the contestants boarding vintage buses, a nod to the golden age of cinema. The drive-through tour took them past several iconic landmarks within the studio complex, including the grand VIP Gate, the luxurious Sitara and Tara Hotels, the serene Angel Fountain, the intricate Hawa Mahal, the beautifully landscaped Narthaki Garden, and the picturesque Palm Street lined with lush palm trees. These scenic locations, often featured in blockbuster films, provided a glimpse into the world of movie magic and the artistry behind filmmaking.

A major highlight of the tour was the stop at the magnificent Bahubali film set. Here, the contestants were greeted with a grand welcome, reflecting the epic scale of one of India’s most successful film. They explored the colossal sets where legendary scenes from the blockbuster movie were brought to life, offering a firsthand look at the creativity and scale that Ramoji Film City is known for.

The day continued with a Movie Magic tour, showcasing the technical brilliance behind some of the most iconic cinematic moments. The tour culminated at the Mughal Gardens, a meticulously designed space inspired by the grandeur of Mughal architecture. Here, the contestants enjoyed a lavish dinner, complete with live entertainment, celebrating the fusion of global cultures in the heart of India’s filmmaking capital.

Reflecting on the event, Julia Morley CBE, Chairman and CEO of the Miss World Organisation, said, "Visiting Ramoji Film City has been an extraordinary experience for our contestants.
