The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) staged a protest outside BJP leader Tarun Chugh's house, condemning the central government's decision to release extra water from Bhakra Dam to Haryana. Cabinet Ministers S. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and S. Harbhajan Singh ETO led the protest, alleging that this move is a "robbery" of Punjab's water rights.
Mr. Dhaliwal said that The central government's decision to release 8500 cusecs of water to Haryana is a direct attack on Punjab's water rights. He said that Punjab is already facing a severe water crisis, with decreasing groundwater levels, and this decision will exacerbate the problem. Minister said that The Aam Aadmi Party will fight against this injustice and ensure that Punjab's water rights are protected.
Cabinet Minister S. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal stated that "Punjab does not have a single drop of extra water to give, and the central government's decision is a clear robbery of our state's water rights." Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO said that "The BJP government is continuously doing injustice to Punjab, and it's time for their leaders in Punjab to take a stand. We will fight till the end to protect Punjab's water rights."

Iqbal Singh Bhullar, Vikramjit Vicky, S. Baljinder Singh Thande, Mr. Jaskaran Badesha, Mr. Satpal Sokhi, Mr. Anil Mahajan and other senior leaders of the party present.
