On the occasion of Manav Ekta Diwas (Human Unity Day), a blood donation camp was organized today by the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 30-A, Chandigarh.

In this noble initiative, Nirankari devotees voluntarily donated 381 units of blood, with a significant number of women actively participating in the drive. The camp reflected the mission's commitment to selfless service and human welfare.

This blood donation camp was inaugurated by Mr. Tarun Bhandari, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister of Haryana. Mr. Bhandari remarked that while many blood donation camps have been seen, it is rare to see camps where everyone is selflessly lining up to donate blood.

Appreciating the Mission, Mr. Bhandari stated that through the grace of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, this mission is not only on the path of spirituality but also actively involved in social welfare activities.

This mission not only regularly holds blood donation camps but also actively contributes to cleanliness drives, tree plantation, and water purification campaigns. On this occasion, Zonal In-Charge Mr. O.P. Nirankari said that this day is dedicated to the philanthropic life and public welfare spirit of the visionary Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji by the Nirankari Mission.

In adherence to the directive of the visionary Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that “blood should flow in veins and not in drains,” the Nirankari Mission has been organizing blood donation camps at many places since 1986, and today, blood donation camps were held at approximately 500 locations across India.

To date, 1,500,000 units of blood have been donated for the welfare of humanity through these camps. Mr. Nirankari praised the large number of donors present here and noted that the donation being made is from the body given by God, as a reserve blood system is created by the divine in all our bodies, allowing us to donate blood.

While the blood that flows in our bodies gives us life, the blood we donate gives life to others as well. Mr. Nirankari further stated that voluntary blood donation is a clear example of giving practical expression to Manav Ekta Divas, as such donations can only be made by those who have an affection for fellow humans.

On this occasion, the coordinator, Mr. Navneet Pathak, expressed gratitude to the doctors' team from PGI Chandigarh and Multi-Speciality Hospital Sector 16 Chandigarh, all blood donors, all the Mukhis of Chandigarh.
