Punjab Sikhya Kranti : Development works worth Rs. 204.24 lakh inaugurated in 12 schools of Mohali district

Development works worth Rs. 204.24 lakh were inaugurated in 12 schools of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district today under the 'Punjab Sikhya Kranti' campaign launched by the Punjab Government. MLA Derabassi constituency, S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa today dedicated development works worth Rs. 116.26 lakh to the students in five schools in the constituency as a part of Punjab Sikhya Kranti. 

These works include a boundary wall built at a cost of Rs 2 lakh, renovation of classrooms at a cost of Rs 2.55 lakh and two new classrooms built at a cost of Rs 15.02 lakh at Government Primary School Samgauli, a boundary wall completed at a cost of Rs 8 lakh, classrooms built at a cost of Rs 9.55 lakh at Government Senior Secondary School Samgauli, renovation of classrooms at a cost of Rs 8.69 lakh, new classrooms built at a cost of Rs 22.53 lakh at Government Primary School Jeoli, a science lab built at a cost of Rs 11 lakh, three new classrooms built at a cost of Rs 22.53 lakh, a playground completed at a cost of Rs 1.5 lakh and other renovation and maintenance works at a cost of Rs 5.38 lakh at Govt Senior Secondary School Jeoli, a classroom built at a cost of Rs 7.51 lakh at Government Primary School Ambchhapa were inaugurated after completion of the works.

Similarly, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar MLA S. Kulwant Singh dedicated a boundary wall built at a cost of Rs. 2 lakh at Government Middle School Raipur Kalan and a classroom built at a cost of Rs. 7.51 lakh at Government Primary School Raipur Kalan to the students. At Government Primary Smart School Motemajra, the MLA dedicated a boundary wall built at a cost of Rs. 1 lakh and a new smart classroom built at a cost of Rs. 7.51 lakh to the students. 

In this way, projects worth Rs. 18.12 lakh were inaugurated in three schools in Mohali. SDM Kharar Gurmander Singh inaugurated school development works worth Rs. 69.86 lakh in four schools in Kharar constituency.  These include a boundary wall built at a cost of Rs. 6.9 lakh at Government High School Manakpur Sharif including two new classrooms built at a cost of Rs. 15.02 lakh, a boundary wall built at a cost of Rs. 6.9 lakh at Government High School Ranimajra and two new classrooms built at a cost of Rs. 15.02 lakh and a science lab built at a cost of Rs. 11 lakh, a new classroom built at a cost of Rs. 7.51 lakh at Government Primary School Ranimajra and a new classroom built at a cost of Rs. 7.51 lakh at Government Primary School Sainimajra were dedicated to the students.
