With Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government committed to provide the best infrastructure and quality education in government schools of the state, Punjab Cabinet Minister and the state president of AAP Mr. Aman Arora today inaugurated development works worth Rs 2.51 crore in six government schools of Sunam Udham Singh Wala assembly constituency as part of the ‘Punjab Sikhya Kranti’ initiative.

Mr. Aman Arora said that the Punjab government has launched the ‘Punjab Sikhya Kranti’ initiative to make government schools better, under which all required facilities are being provided in the schools. He said that the previous governments of the state kept these two sectors, education and health, completely neglected, but the CM Mann led government made both these sectors the main axis of development and this is the reason why the government schools are beating private schools in terms of education system and facilities.

He said that in the last three years, more than 9000 students left private schools to switch over to government schools. He added that this has been made possible because the CM Mann led Punjab government is transforming the state into a new Punjab by transforming government schools where conducive environment for learning, ultra-modern education system, educational tours to foreign countries to improve the teaching skills of school teachers, Wi-Fi connectivity, boundary walls in schools, security guards, construction of new classrooms, clean toilets for students, playgrounds, clean drinking water, regular recruitment of teachers and special attention is being paid to meet every need. He said that due to the environment provided by the Punjab government, 189 students of government schools in Punjab have passed the JEE examination, including Roshan Kumar, a talented student of Government Senior Secondary School Badrukhan.

Cabinet Minister Aman Arora today inaugurated development projects like Science Lab, Library, Physics Lab, Bio Lab, Computer Lab, Resource Room at Government Senior Secondary School and Government Primary School Badrukhan under the Campaign at a cost of Rs. 1.98 crore.

After this, he laid the foundation stone of a new classroom at Government High School Takipur at a cost of Rs. 9.55 lakh and a new classroom at Government Elementary School Rattoke at a cost of Rs. 9.55 lakh. After this, he laid the foundation stone of a new room at Government Primary School Sahoke and Government Primary School Dhadrian at a cost of Rs. 9.55 lakh.

Apart from this, he laid the foundation stone of a room at Government Primary School Togawal at a cost of Rs. 9.55 lakh and also inaugurated the boundary wall of the school built at a cost of Rs. 15 lakh. The Cabinet Minister appealed to the parents and teachers of the students to motivate children and youth to join sports activities so that the objective of ‘Yudh Nashian Virudhh’ launched by the government to make Punjab drug-free can be fulfilled.

He also said that soon the government schools will prove to be better of private schools in every aspect. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora and Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Rishi were also honored by the in-charges, administrative committees and gram panchayats of various schools.
