KCG College of Technology celebrated its 23rd Graduation Day ceremony with great enthusiasm as Shri C V Deepak, Honorable Chief Guest and Airport Director, Airports Authority of India, conferred academic degrees to 915 graduands on campus. The prestigious event was marked by the recognition of academic excellence, with 15 rank holders from the 2023 Batch and 19 rank holders from the 2024 Batch receiving medals and cash awards totaling ₹7 lakhs along with their degree certificates.

The institution proudly announced an impressive 94% overall placement record for these batches, with Civil and Electrical & Electronics Engineering departments achieving a remarkable 100% placement in core companies. DASHAGRIV Aerospace Pvt. Ltd, an alumni start-up founded by two Aerospace Engineering students, Mr. Logeshwaran .M and Hariharan. R of Class of 2024 was inaugurated and the scaled model, Meghnath, developed by the team was also unveiled. 

DASHAGRIV Aerospace Pvt. Ltd, incubated on campus, is a DPIIT (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade) registered start-up, dedicated to advancing Aerospace Technology for near-space applications. Shri Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director of Startup TN, TN Startup & Innovation Mission, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor. 

The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chairman, Hindustan Group of Institutions, while Dr. Muthukannan, Principal, welcomed the gathering and presented the graduation day report. The event was attended by prominent institutional leaders including Dr. Annie Jacob, Director, KCG College of Technology; Mr. Enid Verghese Jacob, Deputy Director, Hindustan Group of Institutions; Dr. G Prabakaran, Dean Academics and other officials of the institution.

In his inspirational graduation address, Shri C V Deepak congratulated the graduands and emphasized that "Learning doesn't stop with college, it is a lifelong journey." He encouraged the new graduates to " Build the right skills, work hard, devise strategic planning, and persevere to turn every stepping stone into success.”

Shri Sivarajah Ramanathan delivered a special address encouraging students to "approach every challenge with a problem-solving mindset regardless of their career path”. He added valuable wisdom, emphasizing the need to be adaptable, ready to unlearn, relearn, and be curious at every stage of life. 

He also encouraged the graduands to take up entrepreneurship as they are to lead the world of tomorrow.  The Chairman Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese's presidential address focused on the importance of values in professional success. 

He remarked, "In the world driven by technology and competition, let your decisions be guided by values." He further emphasized that the degree the graduands received represents not only personal achievement but also commitment to global betterment. Quoting Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, he encouraged the graduands to dream big and voluntarily come forward and mentor juniors, sponsor at least one student for education and serve the community. 

The Chairman encouraged alumni engagement, stating, "Visit your alma mater often, share industry expectations and requirements, educate your juniors, and recommend including emerging topics into the syllabi”. The graduation ceremony concluded on a high note, celebrating both academic excellence and professional readiness of KCG College's newest alumni.
