Haryana's Cooperation and Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma has said that India will become the leader of the world in the 21st century. For this, the Prime Minister of the country, Sh. Narendra Modi is not only implementing the new National Education Policy-2020 but is also taking effective steps to provide a favorable environment by enhancing the talent and ability of the youth of the country.
He called upon the young generation to ensure their active participation in the upliftment of the country and society. Dr. Arvind Sharma was speaking as the chief guest at a convocation ceremony organized at Government PG Nehru College, Jhajjar today.
During the ceremony, he awarded degrees to 1195 students who have passed postgraduation and graduation and inspired them to move forward in life. Dr. Arvind Sharma, while congratulating on International Women's Day, said women empowerment is the resolution of the Prime Minister, which is being implemented in Haryana under the leadership of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini. Today, women in every field are proving their talent with their hard work.
Congratulating all students who have obtained degrees, he said getting a degree is a big deal and not only students but their parents also feel proud. He said the Prime Minister’s dream is that 21st century India should become the leader of the world. Today, programs like Make in India, Digital India, Stand Up India etc are being promoted.
The Cabinet Minister said an education policy has been prepared to give the youth opportunities to move forward according to their ability. The new education policy will inspire the youth to study subjects according to their interest, learn in a creative way and become skilled.
Wishing the students a bright future, Dr. Sharma said your dreams are not just your own, but also of your parents. Success in life is achieved only when the student fulfils the dreams of his parents and teachers.
