First All India Police Kabaddi Cluster Kicks Off in Jalandhar

It is matter of pride that Punjab Police is conducting 1st All India Police Kabaddi Cluster-2024-25 at PAP Headquarter, Jalandhar from 3 March to 6th March, 2025 under the able guidance of Sh. Gaurav Yadav, IPS, W/DGP, Punjab. Sh. Inderrbir Singh,IPS DIG/Admn., PAP is the organizing secretary  and Sh. Navjot Singh Mahal, PPS, Commandant-cum-Sports Secretary, Punjab  Police is nominated as Camp Commandant for this cluster. 

During this cluster, competition of 04 sports disciplines i.e. Kabaddi, Gymnastics, Kho-Kho and Fencing in both Men & Women categories are being conducted. Total 29 teams belonging to different State Police forces, PMF’s and UT’s comprising approximate 1600 participants will fight hard to achieve supremacy. 

Today on 3rd March, 2025, the Opening Ceremony function of this cluster was organized. Sh. M F Farooqui, IPS ADGP/State Armed Police & Central Sports Officer, Punjab Police was the chief guest on the Opening Ceremony. Sh. Inderrbir Singh, IPS, DIG/Admn PAP-cum-Organizing Secretary, welcomed to the Sh. M.F. Farooqui, IPS, Addl. DGP, State Armed Police, Sh. Rajpal Singh, IPS, DIG, PAP-II, fellow officers, esteemed guests 

and media persons. Followed by Speech of W/Chief Guest Sh. M.F. Farooqui, IPS, Addl. DGP, State Armed Police. After that W/Chief Guest declared this cluster “Open”. ASI Randeep Kaur, International Kabaddi player of Punjab 

Police took oath on behalf of all participants. 

In the end, Sh. Navjot Singh Mahal, PPS, Comdt-cum-Sports Secretary presented the vote of thanks. Sh. Rajpal Singh, W/DIG, PAP-II, Sh. Vivek Sheel Soni, IPS, Comdt., Sh. Naresh Kumar Dogra, PPS, AIG, Sh. Manjit Singh, PPS, AIG, Sh. Gurtajinder Singh Aulakh, PPS, Comdt., Sh. Mandeep Singh, PPS, Comdt., Sh. Kartar Singh, Retd. IPS and other State Armed Police officers were present on this occasion.
