In a proud alignment of innovation and academia, Grey Marble Infra Pvt. Ltd. (GMI Infra) took part in the National Science Day 2025 celebrations hosted at Amity University, Mohali. Commemorating the groundbreaking achievements of Nobel Laureate Sir C.V. Raman, the event served as a vibrant platform for scientific dialogue and youth-led innovation.

Held on February 27–28, the event drew a dynamic mix of students, faculty, and industry professionals, transforming the Amity campus into a buzzing hub of creativity and inquiry. Student-led research exhibits and academic projects showcased the cutting-edge thinking shaping the future of science in India.

Representing GMI Infra was CEO Mohit Bansal, who took the stage to present awards to outstanding student innovators. “Whether in real estate or technology, meaningful progress starts with education and scientific thinking,” said Bansal. “These students are not only brilliant—they’re building India’s future. At GMI Infra, we strive to create spaces that nurture this very potential.”

As a longstanding partner in Amity’s journey of academic excellence, GMI Infra’s involvement reflected its broader commitment to supporting education and innovation. The company sees infrastructure not just as buildings, but as frameworks where ideas, enterprise, and community thrive.

The two-day celebration began with an inaugural ceremony featuring a keynote address by Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. R.K. Kohli, followed by a lecture titled "Potential of Science Research in India after Independence." Prof. Kohli emphasized the evolution of India’s scientific policies, key research milestones, and the need for enhanced investments in science education.

Key speakers, including Dr. Vishal Agrawal of the Amity School of Biological Sciences and Prof. Rashmi Sanghi of the School of Chemical Sciences, set the tone for the day’s events with impassioned addresses on the role of science in national development.

The celebrations concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Anil K. Sharma, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, expressing gratitude to all contributors, including GMI Infra, for their active role in shaping a memorable and meaningful Science Day. For GMI Infra, the event reinforced a shared belief: when academia and industry come together, innovation isn’t just celebrated—it’s sustained.
